Stadtentwicklungsforum
Since 2022, Ried im Innkreis has been part of the Upper Austrian Agenda Future network, which already includes over 170 towns and municipalities (https://www.agenda-zukunft.at/).
The Agenda.Future with its 17 sustainability goals was formulated in 1992 at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro as a global programme for a change of course towards sustainable development and adopted by 178 states. It aims to safeguard and improve the local quality of life for present and future generations.
Zukunft.Ried is an urban development process in which citizens have the opportunity to contribute their ideas for the sustainable development of the city and topics that are of particular concern to them and to actively help shape their city.
From autumn 2022 to spring/summer 2024, there will be many different opportunities to get involved.
So far, we have collected over 1265 ideas, feedback and wishes at 37 events. These are currently being evaluated and processed by politicians and the administration.
At the same time, 6 project teams have started to implement their ideas. You can join in. In one of these already initiated projects. Or with your own project idea.
In addition, data and facts were collected as part of various analyses (mobility, urban climate, social space, open space), which are linked to the results of the participation process.
