Stifterschule Ried im Innkreis
Pupils are generally taught in four VS integration classes or in small classes. We see ourselves as a colourful and diverse community.
We organise parts of everyday school life across classes, such as: joint celebrations, festivals, school trips, project days, cooking lessons, time together before and after lessons. We spend our active break together in the large school garden in almost all weathers.
Each child is taught at their own pace according to the respective curriculum. We support the children in their individual learning experiences and create a climate of understanding and warmth. We teach the children as little as possible. The basic value of Maria Montessori's pedagogy "Help me to do it myself" is practised at our school. Pupils are allowed to gain experience and acquire knowledge independently. Through diversity, children can also learn a lot from each other and support each other.
A co-operative relationship with parents is important to us. We therefore expect parents to support the climate of mutual respect and acceptance at the A. Stifter School:
Diversity is perceived as an enrichment
Personal responsibility is strengthened
Respect and tolerance are a matter of course
The dignity of every person is honoured
Openness for one another and the willingness to engage with one another
Benevolence is a basic attitude of all
Cheerfulness has its place
Heart formation is important to us
