The training programme for senior healthcare and nursing professionals covers the professional care of people in all age, population and social groups.
The six-semester full-time degree programme is based on the pillars of teaching, practice and the learning area "Training and Transfer" and includes many internships (also abroad).
The theoretical knowledge acquired at the study centre as well as practical research is professionally put into practice in the internships at the teaching hospitals (Ried, Braunau and Schärding).
The degree "BSc. In Health Studies" degree enables generalist employment in healthcare and nursing and further specialisation in the field of paediatric and adolescent care, in the operating theatre, in management and in university teaching.
